My hair is awesome because i have a cow lick at the front and with my medium length hair it slightly lifts up the front without curling it so if my hair was shorter it would look like ive used gel
I LOVE MY HAIR BECAUSE IF I DON’T LOVE IT, WHO WILL?
I LOVE MY HAIR BECAUSE IT MAKES ME REMEMBER FROM WHERE I CAME.
I LOVE MY HAIR BECAUSE EVERYDAY IS A NEW DAY!
I LOVE MY HAIR BECAUSE IS NOT JUST FASHION!
I had Leukemia as a child and the chemo made all of my long straight hair fall out. When it grew back, it was thick and wavy. I love my hair because it is a testament to Zechariah 9:12.
What I love about my hair. I wanted to fo natural for years. My mom came to visit from Maryland and she cut all her hair off. To me that was a reflection of her true natural beauty and I am my mother so I big chopped and went natural. Love you mom.
I really enjoy the limitless possibilities of my hair. Wash and go is a no-brainer now. What I hope my hair says about me is that I am high quality, low maintenance, versatile, and effortlessly and everlastingly beautiful! I’m 33 and have been natural since 2005. LOVING IT!
I lost my hair straightener during the move to the new apartment. And It was the best thing that ever happened to me! I love my hair as it is. Natural, curly, a little frizzy but nonetheless beautiful.
I love my hair because from the beginning it was God’s creation, and while in my ignorance He preserve me for such a time that I could truly experience what He saw from the beginning; blessed and called good. My hair reminds me of how fearfully and wonderfully I was created. I love that it’s unique to me, I love that my best relaxed day doesn’t compare to my worst natural hair day :-). I am free and I love it…I pray we all walk out into our own freedom.
My hair is heading to serious grey and is likely one of the reasons people ask me if I’m my 3 month old’s grandmother. I think about changing it’s color for only a second. This is my hair. This is me. It’s soft and easy and part of how I live free and happy to be me.
My Hair says that I am the 7 times great grandaughter of Yoruba woman, the great grandaughter of Cherokee woman, and the grandaughter of a mullatto woman, it reminds that every triumph they experienced is with and to access their wisdom i have simply to run my figures through my hair. …..
I love my hair because it says “this girl is not afraid to challenge the status quo!”. I have to been creamy crack (relaxer) free for seven years. I have been rocking locs for the past four yrs and my hair is so healthy and my hang time is down to the center of my back.
My hair has always been beautiful and long – I am blessed, but now that I’ve been a happy nappy for almost 10 years I feel so much more connected to everything around me. It was an incredible journey, difficult at times with alopecia and all sorts of issues. My older sistahs held my hand and my younger sistahs encouraged me to transition from chemically treated to strong healthy natural locs. Now at 58 years young my hair is longer than it’s ever been, never ever having grown past my shoulders (now my hair is kissing my waist!) and yes I’m really free. I love my hair because I never knew how powerful it could be.
I love my hair.
My hair saved my life.
My journey to natural opened my eyes to myself and because of my hair I now love myself more than I ever have. I wrote a book that will soon be released: New Growth: How My Hair Saved My Life.
I love my hair because it doesn’t care if you understand it. It says ‘no’ to the establishment, and roams freely, doing whatever it pleases, over the contours of my head. My hair says I’m independent, free, and I’ve got better things to do than be combed!
My hair says that I’m different and never says it the same way twice. It says step outside the box and don’t be concerned about what anyone else has to say about it.
i love playing with my hair when im high!
My hair is awesome because i have a cow lick at the front and with my medium length hair it slightly lifts up the front without curling it so if my hair was shorter it would look like ive used gel

I don’t love it, but I do take care of it. I wear it natural because that is what I was born with and I am not ashamed of what the Creator gave me.
I love my hair because its an extention of me; the real me and who I am meant to be. I simply love me..
I love my hair because from the beginning it was God’s creation, and while in my ignorance He preserve me for such a time that I could truly experience what He saw from the beginning; blessed and called good. My hair says that I am comfortable being me. It says I embrace the beauty of my locks. My hair says that it is yet another expression of beauty.
I love my hair because it announces my presence, like a crown.
I love my hair because at 46 years old, it can reflect my mood…in an instant… and serve as an external beacon of my inner strength at ALL times.
My Hair says that I am the 7 times great grandaughter of Yoruba woman, the great grandaughter of Cherokee woman, and the grandaughter of a mullatto woman, it reminds that every triumph they experienced is with and to access their wisdom i have simply to run my figures through my hair. …..
I love my hair because it was beautiful and healthy with a relaxer and now it is beautiful and healthy natural.
My hair says I am flexible. I am not my hair, but its bounce, fullness, thickness, shine and trials very much mirror me.
My hair says “I am different on Purpose”!
I love my hair because its versatile enough to fit the whimsical shapes of my moods and attitudes, and its surprisingly as ecclectic and fun as I am.
I love my hair because it is kinky, fine, short, and beautiful.
I love my hair because it says “this girl is not afraid to challenge the status quo!”. I have to been creamy crack (relaxer) free for seven years. I have been rocking locs for the past four yrs and my hair is so healthy and my hang time is down to the center of my back.

I love my hair becauseno my momma gave it to me and no one else has hair like mine!
It’s how I give anyone who thinks blackness is ugly or anyone who is embarrassed to have nappy hair or be part black, the finger.
