We’re thrilled to feature abstract paintings in the Manbites Dog Theater lobby, by Raleigh-based artist, Clara K. Johnson. Completed during a residency in Houston, TX, Clara is a self-trained artist, who returns to Manbites Dog Theater to exhibit some of her transcendental paintings depicting the intangible beauty of nature. PLEASE HELP US SPREAD WORD by sharing this video with your family, friends, colleagues, professional networks, churches, social organizations, neighbors… pretty much anyone you think would enjoy participating in a rich theatrical experience that is engaging, challenging, humorous and affirming. As always, THANK YOU for your continued support of local art & artists. And please don’t wait to get your tickets. They really are going fast!
We are excited to announce that proceeds from our Community Night/Preview Show on Thursday, January 16, 2014 will be donated to our friends at Genesis Home. For nearly 25 years, Genesis Home has worked to end homelessness for families with children by providing housing and supportive services to foster independence. What we love about Genesis Home is there ability to offer hope, security, safety, inspiration, job skills and a home to those in our community who need it most. And when residents transition from Genesis Home to their own home, they take all the skills, hope and fortitude they need to have a better life.
We are so honored to support the great work that Genesis Home is achieving in our community. Please consider supporting this cause by attending our Community Night/Preview Show on Thursday, January 16, 2014. For tickets, click here.

I am thrilled to announce a remount/remix/re-twist of I LOVE MY HAIR the play! After a hugely successful 2012 premiere in Durham, we’re returning to Manbites Dog Theater for a special encore performance.
We’ve made some enhancements and put a little polish on things and hope that you’ll love it as much as you did the first time.
While this is the ILMH REMIX, there are some things that haven’t changed, like the incredibly talented cast and design crew.
Help us spread the word by telling your family, friends, neighbors, colleagues and social networks about the show, and make plans NOW to participate in the I LOVE MY HAIR experience. You do not want to miss this!
Stay tuned for more information and project developments by visiting our web site, liking us on Facebook and following us on Twitter @ILoveMyHairPlay.
